About the Role

SeeAbility is currently seeking a skilled Complex Mental Health Worker to join our team. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality support and care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and care to individuals with complex mental health needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Establish strong relationships with the people we support, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
• Contribute to the development of individual care plans and support strategies.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
• Strong knowledge of mental health theory and practice, including crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm and composed demeanor, with the ability to remain patient and empathetic in challenging situations.
