About the Role

The Complex Needs Support Worker role is a vital position within our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing essential support to individuals with complex health needs, enabling them to live a more fulfilled life and become more independent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and practical support to individuals with complex needs, including personal care, laundry, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Develop strong relationships with the people we support, helping them to achieve their goals and live the life they want.
  • Participate in daily activities, such as planning and attending appointments, and supporting with managing personal affairs.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of the people we support, ensuring their dignity, equality, and equity are respected.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a person-centred approach, responding to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and behaviours that challenge.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, with a proactive and resilient approach.
  • Non-judgemental and empathetic, with a strong commitment to delivering person-centred support.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable, but not essential).
