As Chair of the safeguarding governance group, you will play a vital role in shaping the diocese's safeguarding policies and practices.

Your key objectives will include ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelines, developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, and fostering a culture of safety and respect within the diocese.

To excel in this position, you will require substantial experience in safeguarding, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the diocese's safeguarding efforts and help create a safer environment for all.

Remuneration for this role includes a competitive salary, paid at £500 per full day attended at the Diocesan Office or Cathedral.
