In this critical leadership role, you will guide the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures across the diocese. To succeed, you will need extensive experience in safeguarding children, young people, and adults, as well as an understanding of safeguarding within a church context. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of safeguarding and protect vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate partnerships with diocesan and parish stakeholders.
  • Advise on safeguarding matters.
Requirements

To excel in this position, you should:

  • Hold significant safeguarding experience.
  • Understand safeguarding principles and best practices.
Remuneration

This leadership role comes with a remuneration package of £500 per full day (maximum 12 days per annum), payable for attendance at the Diocesan Office or Cathedral.
