We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team in Liverpool, NY. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, recording maintenance data, and updating patient information.

Job Description:

The Phlebotomy Specialist will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure the efficient collection and processing of blood specimens. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong background in phlebotomy, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collecting blood specimens using straight needles and/or butterfly needles
  2. Recording maintenance data and decontaminating equipment
  3. Updating patient information and collecting/storing specimens according to established procedures

Requirements:

  1. Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment
  2. Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  4. High School Diploma or GED

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
