We are seeking a Graduate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd.

The successful candidate will work as a Learning Support Assistant in a school catering for pupils with social and emotional difficulties.

You will be responsible for supporting students with anxiety, social withdrawal, anger issues, trauma, grief, and social difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 and in group settings with vulnerable students
  • Developing strategies to increase student engagement and motivation
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure effective support

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree (Criminology or Psychology)
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in a similar setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
