Customer Service Administrator

Downing, a leading developer and operator of luxury student accommodation, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join their front-of-house team as a Customer Service Administrator.

This role involves providing exceptional service to residents and visitors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the building is managed and maintained to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing front-of-office support to residents and visitors
  • Updating the company's booking and customer relationship management system
  • Supporting customer show rounds and ensuring maximum occupancy
  • Managing the building and ensuring it is maintained in line with company policies and procedures
  • Responding to customer enquiries and complaints and taking appropriate action
  • Creating a friendly and safe environment for students
  • Engaging with students to capture feedback and insights
  • Coordinating events and activities for students
  • Maintaining review scores across all platforms
  • Complying with Health and Safety requirements
  • Managing incoming post and deliveries

Key requirements include:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms
  • Smartly presented
