About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hotel Operations Coordinator to join our team at COMO The Halkin. As a key member of the Front Office department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the department, ensuring that all guest requests are met with a high level of service and efficiency.
  • You will lead by example, demonstrating your passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Assessing guest issues promptly and taking corrective action to ensure guest satisfaction is key to your success in this role.
  • You will oversee the handling of special room requests, accommodation needs, and billing instructions, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
  • Special attention will be given to VIP guests and long-stay guests, ensuring their stay is nothing short of exceptional.
  • As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team, motivating them to achieve higher levels of performance, and providing coaching to enhance their skills.
  • Reviewing group arrivals and liaising with Reservations will be crucial in achieving excellent service standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

COMO The Halkin is a luxurious 41-bedroom hotel in London's Belgravia, offering a tranquil retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, holistic wellness, and inspiring destinations that honour the spirit of place.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
