About the Role

Polestar is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the UK market. As a key member of our UK management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Lead a team of Regional Managers to drive sales performance and growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major leasing companies, rental partners, Motability operations, and large corporate end-user customers.
  • Develop and implement a sales development plan to address underperformance and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the Order to Delivery team to ensure timely delivery of cars and meet sales targets.
  • Work closely with the POD team to ensure a balanced flow of production variant mix and inventory.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of sales reports to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external partners.
  • Experience with NGA and direct selling business models.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and emerging trends.
