About the Role:

The Salesforce Developer – TrustLaw is a key position in the Thomson Reuters Foundation's Product and Technology department. The successful candidate will lead the development of the TrustLaw Members' Portal, ensuring a seamless user experience and alignment with TRF brand standards.

The role requires strong technical expertise in Apex, Aura, JavaScript, Flows, Experience Cloud, and declarative Salesforce Lightning, as well as experience working on web apps, desktop apps, or mobile apps that require some design and UI work.

About the Job

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with colleagues in the Product and Technology department to gather business requirements, define new features, and develop and release updates to the TrustLaw Portal.
  • Developing and maintaining the technical architecture of the TrustLaw Members' Portal.
  • Leveraging out-of-the-box Experience Cloud components and developing custom solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Design, Head of User Experience, and TrustLaw team to ensure the design and look of the Members' Portal align with TRF brand standards.
  • Maintaining security compliance and best practices, limiting data access to the minimum required and ensuring permissions within Salesforce are correctly configured.

The ideal candidate will have experience working independently without a large development team and a strong understanding of modern software development lifecycle standard methodologies.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the charity sector.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience with Apex, Aura, JavaScript, Flows, Experience Cloud, and declarative Salesforce Lightning.
  • Experience working on web apps, desktop apps, or mobile apps that require some design and UI work.
  • Experience working independently without a large development team.
  • Experience building out solutions based on requirements and acceptance criteria set by a business unit.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • Expertise in Apex, Aura, JavaScript, Flows, Experience Cloud, and declarative Salesforce Lightning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Experience Cloud Consultant I.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
