About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Car Dynamics and Algorithm Development Expert to join our team at Haas F1 Team.

This role involves developing mathematical models and algorithms to enhance car performance, working closely with our Vehicle Performance and Dynamics Engineers to create simulation tools and techniques.

  • Identify areas of strength and weakness, guiding car design and trackside operations for improvement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics theory, simulation workflows, and software development techniques.

This position requires a strong technical background in applied mathematics, physics, or engineering, ideally focused on automotive/aeronautical/racing applications.

As a critical team member, you will need to possess quick decision-making skills, a positive approach, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Skills
  • Daily usage of Matlab/Simulink
  • An object-oriented simulation code base, such as C# or C/C++
  • Visual Studio, .NET, Source Control (Git), Azure DevOps
  • Microsoft 365/OneDrive
