At Prodrive, we're seeking a skilled GT Car Build Technician to join our team of experts. As a member of our growing motorsport team, you will play a crucial role in building high-performance vehicles for international competition.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of GT3 & GT4 cars by maintaining a strict build schedule.
  • Complete each build to the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability, adhering to our build manuals and SSOW processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement from a lean manufacturing perspective and implement changes.
  • Diagnose faults with minimal supervision and provide solutions.
  • Raise and address quality issues through regular communication with the Workshop Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of car documentation and ensure all sign-off processes are up-to-date.
  • Provide support at customer events as required.
Requirements and Qualifications

We're looking for an individual with experience in building race, rally, or prototype cars within a motorsport or automotive background. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Additionally, they should have knowledge of metalwork fabrication, composite trimming and bonding, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
