Job DescriptionAs a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, you'll work on designing and building innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment. Your expertise will help drive fundamental changes in the industry, delivering high-quality software that impacts millions of customers worldwide.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSTo be eligible for this role, you must have graduated less than 24 months ago or expect to complete your Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field at the time of application. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python is essential, along with knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals like object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious technical internship experience is desirable. Additionally, experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases is highly valued, as well as optimization mathematics skills such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £60,000 - £80,000, depending on your location within the UK.
