Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from €4330-5430 gross, depending on your competencies and experience. Additionally, you will have access to an Annual Incentive Plan.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Automation Team Lead - Software Development to lead, mentor, and develop a team of controls engineers. As a key member of our R&D team, you will oversee the hiring process to attract top talent, provide peer coaching, and act as Product Owner/Agent for the area of controls.

You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including hands-on design, implementation, documentation, and validation. Your role will also involve engaging in design reviews and demonstrations with stakeholders, ensuring quality is designed into the product from the start, and collaborating with other development teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of controls engineers
  • Strong technical knowledge in PLC Software Development, MS Office Suite applications, Object-Oriented Design Concepts
  • Full working proficiency in English
  • Enthusiasm for software development and innovation
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with a high level of organization and quality orientation
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingsness to travel internationally for up to 10%
