Automotive Performance Optimisation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Performance Optimisation Engineer to join our team at Haas F1 Team.
- Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain mathematical models and algorithms to improve car performance.
- You will collaborate with our Vehicle Performance and Dynamics Engineers to create simulation tools and techniques for assessing new concepts.
This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics theory, simulation workflows, and software development techniques.
A minimum BSc in Mathematics, Computational Mechanics, or another STEM subject is required, accompanied by an MSc/PhD if possible.
You will need to possess quick decision-making skills, a positive approach, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Requirements- Daily usage of Matlab/Simulink
- An object-oriented simulation code base, such as C# or C/C++
- Visual Studio, .NET, Source Control (Git), Azure DevOps
- Microsoft 365/OneDrive
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
