High-Performance Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead - Mechanical Systems to join our team at Prodrive Advanced Technology. As a senior design engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems, working closely with cross-functional teams and collaborating with customers and suppliers to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and developing high-performance mechanical components and systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Leading the development of junior team members and providing technical guidance
- Working closely with customers and suppliers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Proven experience as a senior design engineer in the automotive or aerospace industry
- Strong understanding of design processes, material selection, and detailed design principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools
- An attractive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience
