Job Description

This role reports to the Head of Performance Engineering and is responsible for managing all historic car programs, including Testing Previous Car (TPC), Testing Mule Car (TMC), and running show cars. On event days, you'll fulfill the role of Test Engineer, overseeing the setup, run plan, and operation of the car, communicating with drivers on track, and attending Heritage Car associated events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage historic car programs, ensuring safe operation and compliance with FIA regulations.
  • Develop testing plans, collaborating with the Head of Performance Engineering, Heritage operations group, and power unit supplier.
  • Coordinate event mileages and part usage with the power unit supplier.
  • Maintain written procedures for historic car operation and compile training material for junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree (minimum 2:1)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Formula 1 trackside as a Race Engineer
  • Experience in other formulas beneficial
Salary & Benefits

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Competitive bonuses, year-round health and wellbeing programs, and multiple rewards packages are included.
