Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Racing Car Controls Specialist to join our Heritage Car team at Haas F1 Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for optimizing car controls systems, including differential, brake bias, and PU torque maps. You'll also work closely with Ferrari electronics, ERS, and engine engineers on all aspects of car systems.

About the Role
- Report to the Heritage Chief Engineer or their designee.
- Responsible for all performance and data analysis aspects of the car's operation at test events.
- Optimize car controls systems, including differential, brake bias, and PU torque maps.
- Work with Ferrari electronics, ERS, and engine engineers on all aspects of car systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Heritage Chief Engineer in performance and data analysis aspects of car operation.
- Work with Ferrari electronics, ERS, and engine engineers on all aspects of car systems.
- Perform lap time simulation work for pre-event preparation, analysis during events, and post-event correlation/analysis.
- Suggest setup changes and options based on simulation and/or track data analysis.

Requirements
- Engineering degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a trackside engineer, preferably in Formula-1, either as a Performance or Controls Engineer
- Experience in other Formulas would be beneficial
