Vehicle Dynamics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mathematical Modelling Engineer to join our high-performance team. As a key member of the Performance Systems Department, you will work closely with Vehicle Performance and Dynamics Engineers to develop advanced mathematical models and algorithms that drive car performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong understanding of complex mathematical concepts, including rigid/flexible body kinematics/dynamics theory, and applying them to real-world problems. You will also conduct research to identify opportunities for improvement in car design and trackside operations.
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum BSc in Mathematics, Computational Mechanics, or another STEM subject, along with substantial experience in applied mathematics. An MSc/PhD is preferred, as well as at least 3 years' experience in motor racing or mainstream automotive, vehicle dynamics/simulation/control.
The salary for this role is estimated at £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
