Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

At AB Volvo, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Banbury. The successful candidate will have a passion for heavy vehicle maintenance and a strong background in repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to carry out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers' trucks, fault finding, and carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • City and Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
  • Experience working on commercial vehicles such as Volvo, Scania, DAF, Mercedes, Iveco, buses, and coaches
  • IT literate
  • Knowledge and experience as a HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic/PSV Mechanic
  • LGV C + E licence beneficial but not essential
  • HGV/PSV licence an advantage
