Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer to join our team at Autoscan UK Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our suppliers meet the required standards and adhere to industry regulations.


The ideal candidate will have significant relevant experience in an SQA/SQD role within an engineering environment and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for developing quality planning within categorised suppliers, problem-solving with suppliers during part approval processes, and operational knowledge of quality systems, tools, and techniques.


Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
  • Operational knowledge of quality systems, tools, and techniques including APQP/PPAP/8D/Six Sigma/problem solving/Process capability/Process auditing quality
  • Good leadership and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Supplier audit & approval

Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within an automotive manufacturing OEM or first-tier supply chain environment
  • Good understanding of the automotive manufacturing process, quality documentation, and procedures
  • Significant relevant experience in an SQA/SQD role within an engineering environment
