About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic work environment with a company on their journey to revolutionise the automotive industry. As a Motor Control Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying, designing, and documenting control algorithms for motors such as axial permanent magnet motors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modelling, analysis, and simulation of motors and high-voltage electric drives
  • Motor control algorithm design and implementation using model-based development tools
  • Control algorithm development for embedded control systems based upon requirements
  • Verification and validation of motor control algorithms including control algorithm calibration and testing in HIL, dynamometer, and vehicle test environments
  • Liaising and working with a multi-disciplinary team to support development and integration of various subsystems
