Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Powertrain Systems Engineer to join our team in developing next-generation control systems for fuel-efficient powertrain systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control System Architecture: Design and develop vehicle-level control systems for reliability and safety, integrating risk mitigation into design.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Conduct thorough safety analysis and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Embedded Software Development: Develop real-time control software for embedded applications using C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
  • System Modelling and Simulation: Create and apply models for system functionality and testing, ensuring accurate simulation and validation.
  • Test Rig Management: Develop, control, and validate test rigs to verify system performance.
Requirements:
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, Visual Studio, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Data and Simulation: Competent in modelling, data generation, logging, and analysis, with experience in tool such as PEAK and CANalyzer.
  • Vehicle Architecture and Communication: Knowledgeable in vehicle systems, CAN/LIN protocols, and associated tools.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
