We are seeking a skilled Process Control and Visualization Expert to join our EMEA-wide engineering team as part of the KION Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visualisation concepts and specifications within cost and time constraints, ensuring that visualization methods and standards meet project requirements.
Main Objectives:- Deliver assigned project scope and tasks by meeting or exceeding safety, quality, on-time delivery, and budget requirements.
- Define visualisation concept and create specifications.
- Edit overview layouts and customer-specific documents.
- Clarify order details internally with other departments and externally with customers and suppliers.
- Create entire visualization.
- Commission systems.
- Occasional system support during start-up phase until production is handed over.
- Train customer personnel and our service employees.
- Maintain Dematic image as top-quality, professional company by adopting honest, professional, and attentive approach.
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers through provision of high-quality service.
- Liaise with other Company Departments, Customers, and sub-contractors.
- Maintain and use wherever possible Dematic standards.
- Comply with company policies.
- Promote personal and business continuous improvement and development of processes to achieve improved time cost and quality or project delivery.
- Ideally educated to degree level, however minimum qualification for this role is HNC/HND in Electrical/Controls Engineering.
- Familiar with PC-based process visualization system WinCC, Iconics, or Ignition.
- Experience in designing graphical user interfaces.
- Experience in Visual Basic Script (VBS), Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and programming languages C, C++.
- Good understanding of SCADA systems and where appropriate in PLC and HMI software.
- Hands-on experience with process visualization systems.
- Good understanding of installation and configuration of computer systems and server systems.
- Understanding of distributed control systems is desirable, not essential.
- Understanding of automated warehouse desirable, not essential.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 based on the location and industry standards.
