We are a leading manufacturer of injection moulding machinery, seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Banbury.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with mechanical or electrical bias to perform planned and reactive maintenance on our advanced machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Prioritise and execute repairs, upgrading systems as necessary to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, costs, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with experience in fault finding and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Familiarity with PLC technology and ability to interpret technical documentation.
