Job Description

At JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for driving line performance and implementing corrective and proactive maintenance strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and be proficient in the use of SAP maintenance software. They will also have knowledge of relevant industry standards and experience working with PLC and HMI programming.

In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance planning team and production engineering team to prioritize projects and initiatives that aim to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). You will also be responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and breakdown work as required.

As a key member of our site's reliability improvement team, you will contribute to enhancing improvements by working at source with operators and supporting them in making the required interventions and adjustments to maximize OEE. You will also participate in continuous improvement activities and support project work when required.

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and health insurance.
