About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Technical Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and monitoring outcomes using data, identifying technical needs, and creating solutions to improve our claims process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operational leadership to review and monitor outcomes using data and support improvements through technical development.
  • Identify technical needs and themes for individual colleagues and create solutions to address these needs.
  • Deliver new colleague training and act as a sign-off for new colleagues from the academy period to being out on the floor.
  • Use data gathered through audits and team leaders to identify systemic/thematic development requirements and create solutions.
  • Support the Contact Centre Leader/Ops Manager to develop the technical strategy for the function and collaborate with other technical and operational leaders to agree and deliver solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the motor claims journey.
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to be a strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to coach and support colleagues.
