Claims Resolution Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving high-value and complex claims cases, minimizing financial exposure, and providing expert advice and coaching to credit hire teams.

Key Responsibilities- Achieve timely and cost-effective settlement of high-value and complex claims cases
- Minimize financial exposure to incoming credit hire and credit hire repair claims through investigation and negotiation skills
- Support the delivery of training, support, and technical development across the department
- Work closely with our legal panel to drive strategic outcomes
The ideal candidate will have significant technical credit hire experience, a good understanding of insurer RTA obligations, GTA, existing credit hire case law, legal precedent, and procedure. They will also possess liability knowledge including indemnity, reserving, negotiation tactics, fraud, and litigation.
