Logistics Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team in the East of England region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and promoting the growth of our sea logistics business, focusing on the Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) segment. Your key responsibilities will include generating new business opportunities, informing pricing decisions, and delivering presentations about our main sea logistics products.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities in the SME segment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to inform pricing decisions
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and other stakeholders
- Deliver presentations about our main sea logistics products
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing & products
- Report customer complaints to the Customer Care team

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is circa £50,000 plus car allowance and good commission based on volume. For every new piece of business you bring in, you will earn £16/TEU on import and £24/TEU for export. Commissions are uncapped.
