Mentor and Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also mentoring and supervising our team of Support Workers.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor and Supervise Support Workers: Provide guidance, support, and feedback to our Support Workers to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Ensure Good Working Practice: Promote a culture of excellence and ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Promote Independence and Develop Skills: Assist residents in developing their skills and promoting independence, while also ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Work with Other Agencies and Services: Collaborate with other agencies, parents, carers, and services to ensure person-centered care and support for our residents.
- Develop and Maintain Records and Support Plans: Create and maintain accurate records and support plans, and contribute to the development of new plans as needed.
- Ensure a Clean-Living Environment: Ensure that the living environment is clean, safe, and meets the individual needs of our residents.
- Participate in Training and Development: Engage in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Qualifications: Hold a QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) and be willing to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience: Have experience of working in a care setting, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other stakeholders.
- Personal Qualities: Be a calm, patient, and resilient individual who is able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
