We are in search of a Lead Care Facilitator who embodies patience and resilience. Your role will involve guiding others and supporting individuals in pursuing their passions.
As a Lead Care Facilitator, your responsibilities will include:
Being an exemplary team player who leads with professionalism, patience, and composure, with a proven track record in delivering exceptional support. Overseeing daily operations and assisting management in evaluating staff performance and development. Possessing a QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and a commitment to pursuing Level 3 qualifications, along with a solid understanding of regulatory standards for supported living. Taking personal accountability for the quality of care provided to those you support. Assisting individuals in planning and achieving both short-term and long-term goals. Encouraging and organizing activities, including trips and social events, while exploring innovative opportunities. Ensuring that individuals and their families are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness. Adhering to the core values of SeeAbility.We seek someone who can commit to 37.5 hours per week and is flexible to work on a shift basis, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

The role involves working at a facility dedicated to supporting young individuals with severe, complex neurological disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

Many staff members have dedicated over a decade to this role, often citing the deep connection they feel to the organization and the joy of seeing individuals engage in their daily activities. This position offers a rewarding and humbling experience that is rare in many workplaces.
Support staff receive comprehensive training in care delivery and are encouraged to enhance their skills and advance their careers, including opportunities for nursing training.
Most individuals at the facility require a high level of support, often on a 2:1 basis. Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentoring and supervising a team of Support Workers. Ensuring adherence to best practices, including health and safety protocols. Promoting independence and skill development while assisting with essential tasks to ensure positive life experiences. Collaborating effectively with other agencies, families, and services to provide person-centered care. Contributing to the maintenance of records and support plans, and serving as a Keyworker when necessary. Ensuring a clean and safe living environment tailored to the needs of those we support.
