Job Title: Supply Chain Quality Lead Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Quality Lead Auditor to join our team at AWE Plc.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading supplier quality audits using AWE's Quality requirements for suppliers as the standard. They will also lead and support the development of initiatives aligned with the audit strategy, gain agreement to audit findings, and follow-up on audit issues and actions in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Lead and support the development of initiatives aligned with the audit strategy.
  • Gain agreement to audit findings and follow-up on audit issues and actions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Deliver assigned supplier audits within the agreed Programme to time and quality.
  • Lead and support the implementation of internal and external best practice, including identifying and developing improvements to the end-to-end audit process.
  • Participate in the development of other team members through coaching and mentoring.
Requirements:
  • Lead Auditor Certification in nationally recognised auditing standards and procedures, ideally ISO 9001:2015.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (or working towards) and/or experience.
  • Strong manufacturing or process related background with good auditing skills.
  • Provide technical advice on standards and acceptance criteria appropriate to scopes of supplier quality work.
  • Maintain, review and report non-conformance, analyse data, share trends and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and share best practice.
  • Work proactively with suppliers, building strong partnerships and support supplier development.
  • Worked with other assurance providers to support delivery of corporate objectives.
