Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving new sponsorship revenue across a growing portfolio of international conferences and events
  • Delivering research to identify potential sponsors
  • Exploring new topics and market segments, mapping emerging markets
  • Developing and maintaining a database of existing and potential sponsors
  • Managing the sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
  • Performing key account management
  • Collaborating with marketing, production, and operations colleagues
  • Researching and launching new events and conferences
  • Attending events to ensure smooth running and improve customer service
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree education with a passion for sales
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • A record of sales achievement
  • Strong interest in international current affairs
  • Intelligent and articulate
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Structured approach with solid time management
  • Hunter mentality
  • Commercially minded with business acumen
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Open and eager to learn
