About the Role

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at VanRath. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function, maintaining accurate information on the HR management system, and assisting in the efficient administration of the HR Function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Maintaining accurate records on recruitment, vetting of all appointees, staff and those recommended to registers;">
  • Maintaining accurate records on probation, induction, appraisal and training for all employees;">
  • Recording detail of all returned exit questionnaires;">
  • Processing and signing off agency paperwork;">
  • In conjunction with HR Manager ensuring timely disposal of records in line with Records Retention policy;">
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant employment legislation, conditions of service, payscales etc and responding to related queries as appropriate;">
  • Implementing College policies, particularly those relating to all HR processes;">
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of the Human Resources Management System in line with requirements;">
  • Participating in the development and review of HR procedures and any subsequent amendments of these procedures;">
  • Monitoring the receipt of applications to recruitment exercises;">
  • Inputting monitoring information for all applicants and employees in line with Section 75 requirements;">
  • Assisting BSPs to make arrangements for shortlisting and interviewing and informing applicants of interview dates and times;">
  • Assisting in, the collation of data for, and the completion of Statutory Reports and Surveys;">
  • Attending Job Fairs/outside events as required;">
  • Preparing documentation for shortlisting and interviewing recruitment panels, any feedback requests or appeals following shortlisting or interviewing.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent @ Grades A-C, including English Language and Maths plus a recognised IT/Word Processing qualification;">
  • OR 4 GCSEs or equivalent @ Grades A-C, including English Language and Maths plus 6 months' experience inputting data / word processing;">
  • OR Have a minimum of 1 years' experience of working in an office environment within the last 5 years with duties including word processing, inputting data, filing, making /answering telephone calls and at least one of the following note taking or records management;">
  • OR Have a minimum of 6 months' experience of working in an office environment within the last 5 years with duties including filing, making /answering telephone calls and at least one of the following note taking or records management plus a recognised IT / word processing qualification.">

Salary & Benefits

">

The salary for this role is approximately £27,000-£29,000 per year, depending on experience. As well as the salary, you will enjoy other benefits such as operational hours, Monday to Friday, full time, 23 days AL, additional 7 days after 5 years, opportunity for hybrid working after probation period and to go perm, and on-site parking.
