Strategic Business Development Professional

About the Role:
The Rethink Recruitment team is seeking a Strategic Business Development Professional to join their dynamic group. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with the Group Leader and key partners to deliver business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Design and execute international business development and marketing campaigns, including budget recommendations and management of approved funds.
- Cross-Practice Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the central marketing team to ensure seamless integration of the Corporate & Commercial practice in international cross-practice business development, communications, and client activities.
- Pitch Development: Craft high-impact value-add pitches, RFP/ITT, and capability documents that respond to specific client/target requests and position the firm as the go-to lawyers in the C&C sector.
- Client Development: Actively manage the C&C practice's participation in the firm's client development programme, including continued development and implementation of relevant client accounts.
- Marketing Materials: Manage requirements for all marketing materials and activities in support of the business development programme for the C&C practice.
- Firmwide BD Projects: Provide support and leads on firmwide BD projects.
- Line Management: Line manage a Marketing & Business Development Senior Executive.
About You:
- Qualifications: Degree level or equivalent industry experience.
- Sector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Corporate & Commercial / Energy sectors.
- Business Acumen: Proven ability of working across all levels of business, preferably within a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong delivery focus, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communications, influencing, diplomacy, flexibility, tenacity, and an international mindset.
- IT Skills: Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and InterAction (or similar CRM database).
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
