About the Role

The Strategic Business Development Professional will be responsible for driving and implementing business development tactics to enhance the firm's profile, strengthen relationships with key clients, and create opportunities for collaboration. This role will work closely with peers globally to drive revenue through marketing and BD efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to position the group as a thought leader in the industry.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client analysis.
• Collaborate with Client Intelligence to prepare research for cross-selling efforts and relationship reports.
• Draft and edit marketing collateral, including practice area descriptions and attorney biographies.
• Manage submissions for major awards and legal directories.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing communications channels.

Requirements

• A college degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field required.
• Five to seven years of business development experience and demonstrated project leadership.
• Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle competing deadlines and priorities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $110,000-$140,000 based on industry standards and location.
