Retail Business Development Manager

The National Account Executive will play a vital role in driving business growth and expansion within the Sainsburys retail chain. This exciting opportunity requires someone who is highly organized, confident, and analytical, with strong data management skills and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a National Account Executive on any retailer, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions. Additionally, they should possess strong Excel skills, be able to work well within a team environment, and prioritize tasks effectively.
About the RoleAs a National Account Executive, you will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing large amounts of data related to JDE and Sainsburys ranges. You will also own the delivery of EPOS, stock holding, and margin tracking reports, as well as supporting the NAM in maintaining an accurate customer forecast. Furthermore, you will co-lead with shopper marketing the external relationship with Logobrand (Field Sales), deliver monthly briefings, and communicate results.
This role involves flexible working arrangements, with three days per week spent in Maidenhead. You will be required to manage financial administration accurately and timely, process invoices, price queries, deductions, and audit claims, as well as manage Sainsburys's Product Induct and My Product Costs systems.
Key Responsibilities- Owns promotional tracking, analysis, and evaluation of both JDE and Sainsburys ranges making recommendations to wider team to maximise performance for JDE.
- Owns delivery of EPOS, Stock holding and margin tracking report.
- Supports NAM in maintaining an accurate customer forecast whilst being responsible for rolling weekly volume and our entries into the volume forecasting system, Xtel.
- Co-leads with shopper marketing, the external relationship with Logobrand (Field Sales) relationship delivering monthly briefings and communicating results.
- Supports ecommerce NAM to deliver excellent online execution and additional opportunities on Sainsburys.com through planning and booking online media with SIP.
