Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Business Development Representative to join our Branded Consumer Healthcare division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and gaining distribution of our established OTC products within independent pharmacies in the South East region, with a focus on South London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to grow the business
  • Maintain and grow existing business by utilizing excellent account management skills
  • Detail OTC products to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals within the pharmacy
  • Train pharmacy staff to drive recommendation of company products
  • Drive in-store visibility through placement of agreed point-of-sale materials
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience, ideally within a healthcare environment or FMCG
  • At least 6 years of experience in a Community Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Local Authority setting
  • Graduate-level or equivalent professional qualification
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Ability to learn about competitor businesses and products and sell professionally against them
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Customer service orientation (internal and external customers)
  • Clean driving license
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of NHS/UK Pharmacy Frameworks
  • ABPI qualification
