About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at 4050 Development LLC. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by identifying and qualifying potential leads, initiating conversations, creating opportunities, and paving the way for successful sales conversions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Transform Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Opportunities by cultivating and educating prospective buyers, not selling them.
  • Account Planning: Work closely with the Account Executives to develop an account plan to approach target customers via outbound techniques to get higher and wider into prospect accounts by having the ability to articulate value and uncover needs at each level of an organization.
  • Lead Nurturing: Nurture leads until they are ready to progress in the sales cycle – provide information, discuss the product, and convey value.
  • Scheduling: Schedule product demonstrations, intro meetings with potential buyers between account executives and potential customers.
  • Positioning: Position Genesys as a global provider of software and services for communications, collaboration, and customer engagement.
  • Target Achievement: Responsible for achieving ambitious quarterly targets and following up leads in a timely manner.
  • Database Management: Maintain and expand your database of prospects.
  • CRM Management: Update SFDC to reflect current lead status.
  • Communication: Take live chats and phone calls and follow up via phone and email on leads from web, events, email campaigns, and other lead sources; always ask for referrals.
  • Opportunity Creation: Creates opportunities in CRM system and assign to appropriate sales team based on BANT/SPIN criteria.
  • Lead Nurturing Processes: Assigns and uses Lead Nurturing processes on ICP accounts not yet ready to buy.
  • Research: Searches internal and external subscription databases, LinkedIn, etc. for additional key contacts within existing companies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our sales team to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up.
Requirements:
  • Outbound Prospecting Experience: Outbound prospecting/inside sales experience preferably within IT/Cloud solutions.
  • Experience: Over 2 years of experience in this field. Candidates with higher experience will be considered for Senior positions.
  • CRM Experience: Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and telephone skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision.
  • Analysis: Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations well.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results with a strong attention to detail.
  • Front-Line Sales Development: Experience and deep understanding of front-line sales development.
  • Technical Aptitude: A good technical aptitude and genuinely interested in technology.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to swiftly learn product solutions as well as general industry knowledge.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English.
  • Adaptability: Resourceful and ability to adapt quickly to changing environment.
