About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Airdrie Adult Community Mental Health Team as a Charge Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver care to a defined caseload/group of clients/patients, ensuring a high standard of quality client/patient care.
  • Deliver clinical supervision and appraisal of Registered Nurses, junior practitioners, and clinical support workers.
  • Work in partnership with other disciplines and agencies to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Delegated responsibility for the management and clinical supervision of Registered Nurses, junior practitioners, and clinical support workers.
About the Team

The Airdrie Adult Community Mental Health Team provides mental health services to adults in the Airdrie area. We are a dynamic and supportive team that is committed to delivering high-quality care to our clients.

What We're Looking For
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration - Registration Mental Health/Learning Disabilities.
  • Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level.
  • Post graduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice.
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice.
  • Leadership skills to enable the day-to-day management of service delivery.
  • Excellent team-working/leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology.

Contract Details

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week.
