Job Summary

NHS Lothian is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our North East Community Mental Health Team in Leith. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient care needs and develop programmes of care
  • Implement and evaluate care programmes to ensure effective patient outcomes
  • Work closely with Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and nursing colleagues to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide cover for the Nurse Team Leader as required to ensure effective operation of the clinical area

Requirements

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant professional body
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
