Job Summary:
NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a Primary Care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to patients in a community-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support GP practices with triage and completion of mental health assessments
- Deliver brief therapeutic interventions and work closely with Primary Care, Home teams, Secondary Care Mental Health Services, and Third Sector Agencies
- Work in partnership with patients and carers, and have good knowledge of local mental health support services
- Manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Relevant experience of working in Community Mental Health is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment
