School Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled School Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have excellent DIY/maintenance skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry) and a strong background in maintenance, health and safety, and facilities management within a school or similar environment.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the school premises are maintained to a high standard, carrying out routine and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Manage and maintain health and safety standards, including regular risk assessments and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
- Liaise with contractors for more complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a school or similar environment.
- Excellent DIY/maintenance skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry).
- Flexible approach to work, including early starts and the ability to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.
The salary for this position is estimated at £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
