Facilities Management Role

We seek a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at a Primary School in Northampton on a permanent full-time basis.

Salary Details: This position comes with an estimated annual salary of £23,893.00 - £24,294.00 (FTE).

In this role, you will oversee the overall maintenance and upkeep of the school's facilities, encompassing tasks such as supervising cleaning staff and ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for securing the school site every day.
  • Maintain fire and burglar alarm systems.
  • Accurately record emergency equipment service history.
  • Conduct routine maintenance as required.
  • Ensure the building and grounds are secure when vacant.
  • Operate heating, lighting, and alarm systems effectively.
  • Source necessary equipment.
  • Coordinate furniture arrangements based on school schedules.
  • Support the recruitment of cleaning staff.
  • Train and supervise cleaning staff on health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards.

About Your Background:
