School Premises Coordinator

This School Premises Coordinator position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the maintenance and upkeep of a school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are maintained to a high standard, overseeing the general upkeep of school buildings, grounds, and facilities, and managing and maintaining health and safety standards.
Responsibilities include:
• Routine and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the school premises are well-maintained.
• General upkeep of school buildings, grounds, and facilities, including minor repairs and maintenance.
• Managing and maintaining health and safety standards, including regular risk assessments and compliance with regulations.
• Liaising with contractors for complex repairs and maintenance.
• Maintaining records related to building maintenance and health and safety inspections.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a school or similar environment, excellent DIY/maintenance skills, a flexible approach to work, and experience in maintaining building systems such as heating, lighting, and security. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
