Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Clinical Scientist to take on a leadership role within our nuclear medicine department. As a Nuclear Medicine Lead Clinical Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of scientific and technical support to nuclear medicine services, working closely with the Head of Nuclear Medicine and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement radiation protection policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on medical physics and radiation protection.
  • Line manage and develop a team of clinical scientists.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a related field (desirable).
  • Corporate IPEM membership.
  • Chartered Scientist (CSi) status.
  • Post-graduate research expertise in a related field.
Salary:

£55,000 - £70,000 per annum.

Location:

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, Mount Vernon Hospital, Rickmansworth Road, Northwood, HA6 2RN.
