Job Overview

Our private client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HCPC registered Nuclear Medicine Radiographer or Technologist with leadership skills to join their well-renowned private hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Department Head.

Salary: £58,500 per annum, negotiable based on experience.

About the Role:

  • Deputise for the Superintendent and lead the team in preparing for the installation of our new scanner.
  • Prepare all paperwork (SOP's, clinical protocols, etc.) to ensure safe and efficient services.
  • Assist in the growth of the department by supporting with the recruitment of new staff into the service as the business grows.
  • Have overall responsibility in the delivery of current and future services.
  • Perform all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and prepare rotas.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration (if Radiographer)
  • Technologists Nuclear Medicine (if not radiographer)
  • B.Sc. Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of Radionuclide Imaging or equivalent. (essential)
  • Substantial, post-graduate experience in a relevant post. (essential)
  • Postgraduate studies in Radionuclide Imaging (desirable)
  • Paediatric cases (essential)
  • PACs trained (essential)
  • Participated in audit process (essential)
  • IV Competency (locally or nationally certified)
