About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to join our team at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. As a key member of our Nuclear Medicine Department, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine and PET-CT imaging procedures with accuracy and precision.

Our ideal candidate will have proficiency in nuclear medicine and/or PET-CT imaging techniques, as well as strong understanding of radiation safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with medical teams and providing high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine and PET-CT imaging procedures with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately and safely.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities to ensure our department meets the highest standards.
About Us

We are part of Atlantis Medical Ltd, a leading healthcare provider in Sussex, England. Our trust emphasizes research and education, collaborating with the University of Brighton and other institutions to improve healthcare delivery.

We offer a competitive salary range of £26 - £28 per hour, paid through a Direct Pay Mechanism. This role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with no on-call duties.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine and/or PET-CT imaging techniques.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in nuclear medicine or radiography.
