HCA Healthcare UK is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Specialist Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its team at The Wellington Hospital in London.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex nuclear medicine scans, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT procedures. They will also assist with patient care and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all nuclear medicine, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT scanning procedures within the department.
- Assist with in-vitro counting and radio-pharmacy procedures according to local protocols.
- Liaise with the Nuclear Medicine Manager and co-workers to ensure smooth operational flow of patient studies.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have post-qualification experience in clinical nuclear medicine imaging and radio pharmaceuticals dispensing techniques. A degree in nuclear medicine or a related science field is essential, along with a postgraduate qualification in nuclear medicine or medical imaging.
BenefitsThe annual salary for this position is up to £54,645, depending on skills and experience. Other benefits include:
- 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays), increasing with service.
