Job OverviewThe Radiology department at King's College Hospital NHS Trust seeks an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Lead to join the Department of Interventional Radiology and work within the Nuclear Medicine suite. This role involves promoting continued development of the service to deliver high-quality patient care and a positive experience while being responsive to the needs of other clinical directorates.
Main Responsibilities- Provide training and educational support to junior staff and students, playing a key role in maintaining a learning environment within the nuclear medicine department.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Matron to drive service development and improvement.
This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual who is keen to learn new skills and committed to delivering high-quality patient care. If you have a strong background in nursing, preferably in nuclear medicine or interventional radiology, and hold a mentorship/practice assessor qualification, we encourage you to apply.
Clinical PracticeTo ensure that practice is evidence-based, develop policies and protocols within the clinical area, and adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times.
Education and ResearchAct as a mentor to junior staff members, responsible for their orientation, supervision, and ongoing development, in conjunction with Line Manager and Practice Development staff.
